2 Liter MRS Kit	Monterey Rye Spirits (MRS) 2 liter Kit "Aged to Your Satisfaction" Your Monterey Rye Spirits (MRS) Kit includes: A 2 liter barrel made of American Oak and heavily charred on the inside. A barrel stand. A wood cock (faucet) Three 750 ml bottles of un-aged Monterey Rye Spirits. Our 2 liter barrels are made of American Oak and are charred on the inside. The barrel, with some variance, will require 2.6 bottles to fill it up; this leaves you a before flavoring sample to compare with your finished product. You will be amazed with the flavors transferred to your Monterey Rye Spirit (MRS). Age your MRS for two to three months, or longer, simply taste samples along the way. You are in control of when to re-bottle your MRS with your preferred oak flavors at their peak. How many times can I use my 2 liter barrel? First realize that your first time aging your MRS in your barrel will be the best. However you can use your barrel one more time, noting that the flavor transfers will take longer. You can of course age our corn spirits instead of rye, or buy two kits, one for rye and one for corn; and then compare.
