![]() About C&C Shine Charlie Bowman, FOUNDER Charlie Bowman was born in 1953 In Fort Knox Kentucky. He was raised until the age of 18 in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. His life experience from birth led him to close family ties in which some members of the family were experts in the art of making fine Kentucky whiskies. Charlie learned and apprenticed at an early age and became familiar with the American tradition of making fine liquor. George Washington himself owned and operated 11 stills.
Charlie learned that by using different ingredients to distill, it produced distinctly different products. Today Charlie distils corn and rye using his vast experience, traditional copper pot stills, and even water that matches the water from back home that runs from the limestone mountains of
Kentucky. The end result is a smooth exceptionally drinkable spirit whether it be the corn moonshine called Clear Madness or the Monterey Rye Spirits which has a rich flavor, a smooth finish, and hints of caramel and hazelnut. A local expert said "It's the closest thing to mothers milk I've ever Tasted." |
